As I reflect back on my life so far I have realized that I'm really just an average girl, with an average life, living with an average disease. But what I do have is an AMAZING God who continues to blow me away with His love and His grace in my life. This is my attempt at putting into writing my journey so far.

Just sitting here listening to my sweet daughter make little squealing sounds as she puts herself to sleep. so cute. so the concert was a hit i have to admit. Actually I thought Kelly Clarkson's show was a little better. She actually has some really good songs. I may even have to get her cd. and Clay was good as well. He really knows how to engage the crowd. At one point he took someone's cell phone and started talking to the person on the other end. I know he isn't all that, but he and Kelly must be doing something right. Almost every concert has been nearly sold out and they are playing in venues that seat about 15,000. Anyhoo, I'm sure the more I talk about it, the more i'll get made of fun of, so i'll end there. and yes Trace, it probably is up there with Hootie, except i guess it's worse because I actually enjoyed it. :) My sister who as you all know is obessesed with Clay Aiken and her new obsessed friend who I might add is 31 years old, waited for the buses after the concert and followed them to detroit and went to that concert. She has now been to 4 concerts and hopes to make it to some more. wow...that's all i can say to that.

we had a fun weekend. definitely much more relaxing than Matt and Tracey's it sounds like. What a funny picture it was imagining that Uhaul! We had our friends Tracey and John from Cincinnati down for the night on Saturday. Their little girl Siara is 2 weeks older than Hannah. Neither of us had seen each other's daughter's yet so it was fun to finally meet her. She was so cute and so tall! Either Hannah hasn't grown much since her 97th percentile status or Siara is in the 100th percentile bracket. She was about a whole head taller than Hannah. They were so cute together. Siara would be all sweet and try to touch Hannah and I guess Hannah was the bully because she got so excited and pushed siara over one time and another time grabbed her by the bib and yanked on it. It was funny to watch.

On Friday night we went to Jamie and Donny's house and had dinner with some friends and just hung out. Nothing too exciting, but always fun to hang out with friends. They had a johnny jumper there that attaches to a door frame and your baby can bounce around in. We put hannah in it to see if she would like it and she LOVED it! She was even laughing as she moved around. So we'll definitely be getting one of those. I now see why parents go crazy and get their kids tons of toys, because they do seem to get bored more quickly with them and it's all about keeping them happy. i'm going to have to start being creative and make some toys up. they usually like those kind better anyways.

we are getting a fence finally installed this week and we had someone come out and mark our property line. well we found out that we have about 15 more feet than we thought. there is a horse fence along our yard that we assumed was the edge of our property, but apparently it goes beyond that. so now that means we have to battle the builder to come and remove the fence and sod the rest of our yard. hopefully it won't be a huge battle. but that is exciting to know we have a bigger yard!

welp it's now day 3 without a shower so i better go get cleaned up. my friend Angela is coming over for lunch. i didn't get a chance to go to the store so hopefully she doesn't mind mac and cheese.

it was good reading everyone's blogs. except of course for ryan's, the slacker!

have a great week!
