As I reflect back on my life so far I have realized that I'm really just an average girl, with an average life, living with an average disease. But what I do have is an AMAZING God who continues to blow me away with His love and His grace in my life. This is my attempt at putting into writing my journey so far.

Welp it's Wednesday night and I'm home alone and if you read Ryan's blog then you can guess why. He's at Dan's house playing Tiger Wood's golf. However they got off a little easy tonight because no deal was made. Lisa and I must be getting soft. So did anyone else watch the Swan tonight? What is this world coming too. Let's take these poor women who have no self esteem and feel ugly, and let's do all this traumatic surgery on them and then help them feel pretty, but then let's crush them again and say, oh wait you're not pretty enough still to be in a beauty pagent. What is this world coming to just to get ratings! But of course I sat there and watched the whole thing. I thought the blonde looked a little well done, but the first girl was pretty. But I thought she was kind of cute to begin with. I guess it's good that they at least to counseling as well.

Oh well enough blabbing about that. Lots have been going on, but I may run out of steam to mention it all. So here are the short highlights. Last week was in Columbus with my fam while Ryan was whoring it up in Las Vegas. He didn't come back a big winner unfortunately but it sounds like he had fun. Wish I could have been there. Had a great time with my family though. Got to spend a lot of time with my sister which was a lot of fun. She's been struggling with some unwise choices so if any of you think about it, say a little prayer for her. It was nice having help with Hannah too as I'm sure my folks loved spending time with her. I think I would have been a lot more lonlier and sad if I stayed in Lexington. I had all these plans to scrap book and fix up my paren'ts computer, but I ended up pretty much being lazy the whole week. I did get to visit with Emily and my friend Angela from high school which was great. Her little boy is 13 months old. Such a cutie! And 2 days I went to Max and Erma's with Hannah since Jen was serving there. She hooked me up with some cheap meals. Hannah sat in a big girl high chair for the first time. She did so good! And then Jen and I got free tickets to see the Girl next door. I was hoping that it would be like the movie Coyote Ugly where the previews made it look like a bad movie, but it was really cute, but unfortunately it lived up to the previews. It was actually a good story line and some funny parts, but a lot of the humor was pretty bad and even though there wasn't really any nudity in it, there were some pretty bad scenes. Well since I was already a bad influence on Jen by seeing that movie, I figured why stop there so we stayed there and snuck into another movie. We started at Starsky and Hutch, but we could tell that we wouldn't enjoy it much since we never saw the show, so we went to see Taking Lives. It was a pretty good movie. The ending wasn't spectacular, but at least it was different. Of course there had to be a bad scene in that movie too, so I definitely wouldn't call the evening a wholesome one, but fun nonetheless.

When Ryan got home Thursday night we went to the Cheescake factory for dessert. Yummy! And then on Friday night we finally got to show mom and dad how to play catan. Well when my family likes a game they become addicted to it so on Saturday we started at 2:30pm and except for about an hour and a half break to give hannah a bath and feed her and put her to bed, we played until after midnight. I couldn't believe how good Hannah did. She just played in her exersaucer and we would take turns holding her and she would help us play. We sure are blessed that she's so easy going! Not many people can say that they can play a game for 10 hours with a 6 month old. I did manage to get 2 victories in and my dad got one and of course Ryan won the rest. Poor mom! She was getting frustrated, and I could empathize with her. I kept reminding her how it took about 20 games before I got my first victory. But I don't think it made her feel any better.

We headed back on Sunday and I went to the Home and Garden show to work at the pampered chef booth. Yes I am now a pampered chef gal. Since I'm not working for Rob much anymore I thought this would be a fun way to make some extra money and get out of the house from time to time. I have totally given to God, so we'll see how far he wants me to go with it.

Let's see now that this blog has turned into a novel, what else can I talk about. Well the new things with Hannah this week have been a lot...she's in her big girl car seat now, she sat in a big girl high chair at the restaraunt, she can roll from her back to stomach both ways now, she started saying her "g" sounds which is her first constanant (sp?), and she ate sweet potatos for the first time. Lots of new stuff! She is still so sweet and adorable and I can't believe what a good and laid back baby she is. I would like to think that it's because of Ryan and my parenting and maybe a little bit of it is, but mostly I know that God has just blessed us with a good natured baby. We'll see what the next one brings whenever that may be.

Welp Ryan just walked in the door so I will spare you all for now. Have a great week!
