As I reflect back on my life so far I have realized that I'm really just an average girl, with an average life, living with an average disease. But what I do have is an AMAZING God who continues to blow me away with His love and His grace in my life. This is my attempt at putting into writing my journey so far.

We are back from a great vacation in myrtle beach. It went way too fast as it always does. I don't think I really appreciated it much until we got home and I couldn't take Hannah down to the beach or pool whenever I felt like it. It was so fun seeing Hannah in the pool and beach. She loved kicking and swimming in her float and she loved eating the sand! So needless to say we didn't spend a whole lot of time on the beach. There's only so much of saying "no hannah, don't eat the sand" before you give up and move to the pool.

It was surprisingly a pretty relaxing vacation. The ladies and guys both had times to ourselves as well as our families and each couple had a date night too which was great. My only complaint would be the garbage trucks that came every morning at 6am to empty the dumpsters right outside our place. But other than that a wonderful vacation!

Welp I would write more, but Hannah is getting ansy in her exersaucer. I can't wait to see Tracey in a few days!

We leave for myrtle beach in 4 hours! i will miss reading your blogs for the week, but hopefully i'll have some good ones to catch up on when i get back. especially to see how Bo's life is going. that was too funny. :)

we had the neighborhood over to our house last night. we had a pretty decent turn out. it was a lot of fun. we met this young couple who are getting their phd's in math and surprisingly seem fun and not too weird. and they like games so we are hopefully going to get together with them sometime.

Since there are many posts about music I thought I would share a new song that you all have probably already heard for months now, but I am really into it right now..it's by a band called Hoobastank, called the Reason. it looks like they've been around awhile...they have a few cds. i haven't listened to anything else though, so this could be their only good song. but just thought i'd give my music 2 cents.

welp since ryan gave me the strict instructions that when he comes home and opens the garage, everything that needs to go in the car better be in there, then i guess i must get packing.

have a great first weeks of summer mare and trace and enjoy working some more matt!

A great weekend had by the Goods. My parents unfortunately had to cancel our camping trip this weekend, due to some craziness at her job which I won't go into, so we were able to go up to Cincinnati and celebrate Grandad's 85th birthday and Jonathan's graduation. It was great to be able to celebrate with the family. Tracey, your video was a big hit! that was so sweet of you to do. I could tell Grandad was so tickled as he was watching it. It was fun to see your kids too. what cuties!

This weekend was a sweet festival for us. I have not eaten a lot of sweets, especially at night in a long time, but Ryan was craving sundaes on saturday night so we got some cookies n cream icecream, caramel, chocolate syrup, peanuts and whip cream and made some sundaes while we watched Master and Commander. The next morning i had such a stomache ache! i don't know if it was from the sundaes or wasting 2 1/2 hours of my time watching that incredibly boring movie. they could have made that so much better and so much shorter. but oh well i digress. then on sunday night we had spice cake and ice cream for grandad's birthday and on monday i had oreo cheescake from the cheescake factory. yummy!!!

I can't believe we leave for the beach on Friday! I can already feel the stress kicking in. I always get really stressed right before we leave for trips. i think i just hate the packing part and since i always put it off until the last minute, that doesn't help the stress level. and then like packing for a trip isn't enough, i decided to invite the whole neighborhood over for a party on thursday night. i wanted to have something where we can meet all the neighbors and then i thought it would be good to plug my pampered chef stuff a little, but i didn't want the neighbors to think i was inviting them just to sell them stuff, so i am having a fund raiser for the American Cancer Society through pampered chef, but mainly it's just an excuse to meet folks. i ended up sending out 62 invitations so we could potentially have a lot of people in our house. yikes!! i am actually not too stressed about it. i am just going to Sam's club and get the ready made appetizers and have some drinks here and just socialize. it will be a good excuse to have our house clean before leaving for vacation.

welp i better start making my lists so i can stay on task this week. oh mary, i am curious about the blog u told us to check out, but i don't see the link there.

glad you had fun on your trip matt and trace!

i'm going to make like a baby and head out! --->
