As I reflect back on my life so far I have realized that I'm really just an average girl, with an average life, living with an average disease. But what I do have is an AMAZING God who continues to blow me away with His love and His grace in my life. This is my attempt at putting into writing my journey so far.

Matt I am so in on that software idea. You come up with the idea and I'll code it. I always thought that was the key to early retirement. Find something that bigger companies want you out of the way with and let them buy you out.

Mary, I am so bumming! We are headed out to San Diego July 24-31. When do you leave for England? Will you be around any time in July? And that so stinks about your linoleum. I remember when my yellow lab Cody ate our couch and mattress. Not a happy time. Yet somehow they are still worth it when they give you that innocent, unconditional love look.

Well I just got back from garage saleing (is that a word??) with Lisa. We started at 6:30am so we can beat the crazy people that take their pick up trucks and buy crap that they can then turn around and sell at flea markets. We did manage to stay ahead of a few people, but the guy with the huge fed ex truck beat us to a lot of the good stuff. But we did manage to get some good deals...especially Lisa. She got some fun outdoor toys and I got some really cute outifts and shoes. We were cracking up at ourselves though, because we were getting a little too into it. We were trying to strategize where the mini van lady and the fed ex man were going so we could beat them. At one point we saw him stop and talk to someone, but we got caught up into one of the sales and then we lost him! I'm kicking myself for not buying this patio furniture set i saw. We tried to go back and find it, but we couldn't remember where it was. oh well...a fun tim nonetheless. now i'm ready for a nap!

last weekend was such a great time. It was awesome seeing Tracey and for her to see Hannah Bananna. Matt we were sad that you weren't able to make it. But soon enough we'll be out there and you'll get to see Hannah and her chubby feet! :) The wedding was nice except for this screaming little boy that pretty much disrupted the first 3/4 of the wedding. I was so fired up...i almost just got up and took him out myself. I've never seen such rudeness in my life! I can't believe that instead of taking the boy out of the church they gave him to his mother instead who was one of the bridesmaids! But most of you who read this were there, so you know what i'm talking about. The receptin was a lot of fun. They didn't have amaretto sours there which made me a little sad, but the whiskey sour and the cranberry juice and vodka were pretty good too. Didn't Greg look so good? Definitely a good time had by all.

poor ryan...he gets no rest this weekend which is the first weekend we've been home for quite a few weeks. he had to get up with hannah this morning and now he's helping our friends jeremy and jennifer move into their temporary townhome. they are moving to alabama at the end of the summer, so we'll be helping them again then. and then we have church tonight and tomorrow him and Dan are going to dig the post holes for our fence. And I think this week they are going to work in the evenings to finish it up. I can't wait to have a fence! i'm sure reeces can't wait even more.

well i think it's nap time. have a fun weekend everyone!

Just taking a quick break from a crazy week. We got back from Cincinnati on Monday night and we leave tonight for Columbus and then heading on to Cleveland! It should be a very fun weekend. I can't wait. And it got even better realizing that I can now enjoy the open bar since I am not nursing anymore!

We had a fun Easter weekend with Ryan's folks. Got to hang out with the Burns' a couple of days too. On Saturday we took Reeces to a dog park. And their neighbor's dog, Bert, was there too. They both had a fun time running around with all the other cute dogs. There was one dog there that was a cross between Chipper and Reeces. She was such a cutie! Then on Sunday we were bad and didn't make it to church. Mom wasn't feeling well and the service was right in the middle of Hannah's nap, so we decided to play hooky. Instead we made plans to go to the race track! Not sure if I should admit that out loud. :) We were going to go watch the horses, because we thought Hannah would like it. But it ended up being that no races were on for that day so we took Hannah to the park instead and she had fun swinging and going down the slide with me. She also discovered sand for the first time and loved it!

Welp I have to get some lunch and pack Reeces' things for today. He's going to stay with his dog friend Ellie for the weekend, so that should be a good time for him.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Wow scary story Mare! Way to go Bo for protecting your clan! I remember an encounter with a rattle snake when I was a little girl. I was running along the bank of a river watching my dad fish and one started approaching me. I immediately ran in the other direction and luckily got away from it. Still a scary childhood memory.

Oh and Trace to answer your question from a couple blogs ago, definitely the scraping of silverware on plates and especially silver pots. Ahh! It makes me cringe thinking about it. Also the nails on chalkboard gets me too.

We are heading up to Mom and Dad Good's for Easter. It's been a month since they've seen Hannah so they are in withdrawl. :) I guess mom was talking to Ryan about Easter dinner and metioned that since no one really likes ham that maybe we would just have pizza for Easter dinner. Of course Ryan was definitely down with that! Have a great Easter everyone! Thanks Jesus for your amazing sacrifice on the cross. May we never forget what you went through for us and let our lives show our gratitude!

Welp it's Wednesday night and I'm home alone and if you read Ryan's blog then you can guess why. He's at Dan's house playing Tiger Wood's golf. However they got off a little easy tonight because no deal was made. Lisa and I must be getting soft. So did anyone else watch the Swan tonight? What is this world coming too. Let's take these poor women who have no self esteem and feel ugly, and let's do all this traumatic surgery on them and then help them feel pretty, but then let's crush them again and say, oh wait you're not pretty enough still to be in a beauty pagent. What is this world coming to just to get ratings! But of course I sat there and watched the whole thing. I thought the blonde looked a little well done, but the first girl was pretty. But I thought she was kind of cute to begin with. I guess it's good that they at least to counseling as well.

Oh well enough blabbing about that. Lots have been going on, but I may run out of steam to mention it all. So here are the short highlights. Last week was in Columbus with my fam while Ryan was whoring it up in Las Vegas. He didn't come back a big winner unfortunately but it sounds like he had fun. Wish I could have been there. Had a great time with my family though. Got to spend a lot of time with my sister which was a lot of fun. She's been struggling with some unwise choices so if any of you think about it, say a little prayer for her. It was nice having help with Hannah too as I'm sure my folks loved spending time with her. I think I would have been a lot more lonlier and sad if I stayed in Lexington. I had all these plans to scrap book and fix up my paren'ts computer, but I ended up pretty much being lazy the whole week. I did get to visit with Emily and my friend Angela from high school which was great. Her little boy is 13 months old. Such a cutie! And 2 days I went to Max and Erma's with Hannah since Jen was serving there. She hooked me up with some cheap meals. Hannah sat in a big girl high chair for the first time. She did so good! And then Jen and I got free tickets to see the Girl next door. I was hoping that it would be like the movie Coyote Ugly where the previews made it look like a bad movie, but it was really cute, but unfortunately it lived up to the previews. It was actually a good story line and some funny parts, but a lot of the humor was pretty bad and even though there wasn't really any nudity in it, there were some pretty bad scenes. Well since I was already a bad influence on Jen by seeing that movie, I figured why stop there so we stayed there and snuck into another movie. We started at Starsky and Hutch, but we could tell that we wouldn't enjoy it much since we never saw the show, so we went to see Taking Lives. It was a pretty good movie. The ending wasn't spectacular, but at least it was different. Of course there had to be a bad scene in that movie too, so I definitely wouldn't call the evening a wholesome one, but fun nonetheless.

When Ryan got home Thursday night we went to the Cheescake factory for dessert. Yummy! And then on Friday night we finally got to show mom and dad how to play catan. Well when my family likes a game they become addicted to it so on Saturday we started at 2:30pm and except for about an hour and a half break to give hannah a bath and feed her and put her to bed, we played until after midnight. I couldn't believe how good Hannah did. She just played in her exersaucer and we would take turns holding her and she would help us play. We sure are blessed that she's so easy going! Not many people can say that they can play a game for 10 hours with a 6 month old. I did manage to get 2 victories in and my dad got one and of course Ryan won the rest. Poor mom! She was getting frustrated, and I could empathize with her. I kept reminding her how it took about 20 games before I got my first victory. But I don't think it made her feel any better.

We headed back on Sunday and I went to the Home and Garden show to work at the pampered chef booth. Yes I am now a pampered chef gal. Since I'm not working for Rob much anymore I thought this would be a fun way to make some extra money and get out of the house from time to time. I have totally given to God, so we'll see how far he wants me to go with it.

Let's see now that this blog has turned into a novel, what else can I talk about. Well the new things with Hannah this week have been a lot...she's in her big girl car seat now, she sat in a big girl high chair at the restaraunt, she can roll from her back to stomach both ways now, she started saying her "g" sounds which is her first constanant (sp?), and she ate sweet potatos for the first time. Lots of new stuff! She is still so sweet and adorable and I can't believe what a good and laid back baby she is. I would like to think that it's because of Ryan and my parenting and maybe a little bit of it is, but mostly I know that God has just blessed us with a good natured baby. We'll see what the next one brings whenever that may be.

Welp Ryan just walked in the door so I will spare you all for now. Have a great week!
